I started this blog as a professional development project for school – the summer that I went to space camp.  From the start, I knew that it was going to be a crazy mixed-up summer.  Lots of hurry up then wait time.  I usually have something with me to work on…knitting, crochet, quilting, needlepoint…lots of different projects.  I have my own standards for my work, and so when I get distracted and make mistakes, I will undo it – tinking – knitting backwards – until I get it right, hence then name of this blog.  And if you made it this far…here is a picture of one of the adventurous things that I did at space camp, whirling around in all directions on the multi-axis trainer.  As someone who still has trouble with boats and planes, I was more than a bit hesitant to try it – but when else would I get a chance?
